For the ones who don't know, every March Valencia and the Valencians celebrate their own important festival: "Las fallas". Where the falleras wear gowns with distinguished class and pride. This traditional event has sparked in me the will to recreate a scene from the renaissance and bring it to a more modern look a touch of pop culture. Lydia is a fallera from the day she was born and was very kind to let me take a portrait of her.
